Heated interiors, insulation and cold-water-rated equipment, chartered whole boat. Sailing Northern Norway." lang: en --- Skip to content The fleet # Our fleet Boreal Yachting's fleet of ten Arctic-prepared vessels is set up to live on in cold weather. Each boat has a heated interior, insulation suited to sub-zero air temperatures, cold-water-rated deck and safety equipment, and a maintenance schedule built around winter sailing north of the Arctic Circle from Tromsø. Every vessel is chartered whole boat. On a skippered voyage the crew occupy one cabin, so each boat carries two fewer guests than it has berths. All berths are in cabins. ## The ten vessels - Bali 4.6 ### Arctic Wonder Type Sailing catamaran Length 14.33 m Cabins 5 Berths 10 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 8 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway Base Sails from Tromsø and Harstad https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/arctic-wonder - Dufour 48 ### Arctic Horizon Type Monohull sailing yacht Length 14.32 m Cabins 5 Berths 10 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 8 guests Bareboat Up to 10 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway Base Sails from Tromsø and Harstad https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/arctic-horizon - OVNI 445 ### Aleiga Type Aluminium centreboard sailing yacht Length 13.00 m Cabins 4 Berths 6 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 6 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway and Svalbard Base Based in Tromsø · Svalbard, May to September https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/aleiga - Bavaria 51 Cruiser ### Arctic Breeze Type Monohull sailing yacht Length 15.60 m Cabins 5 Berths 10 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 8 guests Bareboat Up to 10 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway Base Sails from Tromsø and Harstad https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/arctic-breeze - Delphia 47 ### Arctic Light Type Monohull sailing yacht Length 14.00 m Cabins 5 Berths 10 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 8 guests Bareboat Up to 10 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway Base Sails from Tromsø and Harstad https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/arctic-light - Hanse 458 ### Arctic Njord Type Monohull sailing yacht Length 14.04 m Cabins 4 Berths 8 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 6 guests Bareboat Up to 8 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway Base Sails from Tromsø and Harstad https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/arctic-njord - Delphia 40 ### Arctic Sky Type Monohull sailing yacht Length 11.95 m Cabins 4 Berths 8 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 6 guests Bareboat Up to 8 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway Base Sails from Tromsø and Harstad https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/arctic-sky - Hanse 458 ### Arctic Whisper Type Monohull sailing yacht Length 14.04 m Cabins 4 Berths 8 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 6 guests Bareboat Up to 8 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway Base Sails from Tromsø and Harstad https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/arctic-whisper - Bavaria 50 ### Arctic Wisdom Type Monohull sailing yacht Length 15.43 m Cabins 5 Berths 10 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 8 guests Bareboat Up to 10 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway Base Sails from Tromsø and Harstad https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/arctic-wisdom - Delphia 40 ### Klara Type Monohull sailing yacht Length 11.95 m Cabins 4 Berths 8 berths, all in cabins Skippered Up to 6 guests Bareboat Up to 8 guests Primarily sails Northern Norway Base Sails from Tromsø and Harstad https://boreal-yachting.com/fleet/klara ## What Arctic-prepared actually means Most charter boats are built for warm-water sailing and moved north for the season. Ours are not. The difference shows up in the small things over a week at 69.6°N. ### Heated interiors Each boat carries a heating system sized for winter use, so the saloon and cabins stay warm while the air outside is below freezing. Heat also keeps the interior dry, which matters more over a week than any single comfort feature. ### Maintenance standards The boats are maintained by our technical team in Tromsø. Engines, heating, rigging, and electronics are serviced between seasons and inspected between charters. ### Crew who know the boats Our skippers sail the same vessels repeatedly through the year. They know how each boat behaves in a squall in the Lyngen fjords, and where the gear is stowed, without reading a manual.
